Project: Grain & rice cooker
Short brief: KitchenAid tasked us with designing the GUI for their new full-touch Rice & Grains Cooker — a product built around the idea that precision cooking should feel effortless and personal. The interface needed to guide users through the entire cooking journey, from selecting and customising preset programs to following step-by-step ingredient instructions, through to guided cleaning cycles — all while remaining aligned with KitchenAid's commitment to elegance and usability.
Our work focused on crafting a seamless, responsive touch experience where micro-animations and motion design play a central role: each interaction is met with immediate visual feedback, making navigation feel intuitive and every gesture satisfying. The result is a cohesive design system where interface behaviour and visual identity work as one — turning a functional kitchen appliance into a refined, personalized cooking companion.
