Project: H2D smart platform
Short brief: DAB Pumps engaged us to conceive and design H2D — their smart platform for remote monitoring and management of next-generation DAB pumping systems — from the ground up. The product replaced DConnect, DAB's previous remote control system, with an entirely rethought experience spanning a mobile app and a desktop version.
Our responsibility covered the full design scope, excluding development: UX strategy, UI design, interaction flows, and the differentiation between two distinct user profiles — professionals such as installers and plumbers, who need real-time diagnostics, remote parameter control, and system mapping to optimise their work routines, and end users, who require a simpler interface focused on consumption monitoring, comfort settings, and daily convenience.
The result is a coherent, scalable platform that translates the complexity of hydraulic system management into an intuitive experience, making H2D an indispensable tool for the professionals who rely on it daily and a transparent companion for the owners who live with it.
